Our first Project Partners' Meeting on the AGREE project in Belgrade

The AGREE project aims to strengthen civil society’s role in advocating for women's and girls' rights, fighting discrimination, and enhancing regional cooperation and social cohesion. Through capacity building, networking, and advocacy, the project will contribute to gender equality and girls' empowerment across the Western Balkans and Turkey.

Project plan:

  • Establishing a Regional Network of Civil Society Organizations and strengthening national networks in six Western Balkan countries and Turkey.
  • Supporting organizations in evidence-based advocacy and lobbying.
  • Connecting with networks and consortia at national, regional, EU, and global levels.
  • Developing and testing local initiatives to prevent peer gender-based violence against girls.
  • Enhancing girls' entrepreneurial skills, breaking stereotypes, and combating discrimination.
